WHY ARE PEOPLE GIVING ANKIEL the benefit of the doubt!!!?
This is ridiculous!! People are going on and on about how he took them in 04when he was a pitcher and they say he stopped and he legitamately hit those home runs this year Why don't I hear anything like that for Bonds (JERK!)? WHy do I still hear that he still takes steroids? GIAMBI STILL HAS NOT PUBLICLY said "I took steroids"...he did everything in private AND YET people are sympathetic towards him. All he said was somethin like we as baseball players need to apologize or somethin like that, BUT HE NEVER PUBLICILY ACKNOWLEDGED HE DID IT So just because those two fools didn't break any records, they don't get the same amount of heat that A-hole Bonds gets??? I know HGH is undetectable and certain steroids/HGH supplements weren't banned back then, but still why when it comes to these BIG 3 in the spotlight, IDIOT BONDS gets a cold shoulder but people give the other two a chance to redeem themselves and hear them out? asking again since i didnt get that many answers last time Ocho Cinco looks like i stole all 3 of your top contributor badges lol just kidding

- Amen brother finally someone with logic. No consistency in todays sports world everyone just relies on ESPN for their opinions and morals. I'm sure some old guy like John Kruk came on today and said give this guy a break look at all he has been through i can understand why he took HGH, and plus he hasn't done it for awhile so what we are seeing is real. But when you ask Kruk about Bonds even though all the facts are the same Bonds is guilty. Just because Bonds is arrogant and the best baseball player ever people slander him without using logic.
- I'm not.....I have lost respect for all of them......the sad part is that they are all destroying the sport that they are making their living off of...and they don't seem to care...
- People are giving him the benefit of the doubt because they are tired of the media witch hunt thats been going on all season. If they cant show that he took them after they were banned, then who cares. If people keep getting so worked up over players who took them when they were legal, then i guarantee there will be no end to this madness, they will keep accusing player after player until the entire sport of baseball becomes tainted.
- Key phrase here is "when they were legal". But, legal supplements are also the only reason Big Mac isn't in the Hall yet, so there is some inconsistency here. In my opinion, not even being a Cards or Mac fan (not a hater, just not a fan), that stigma shouldn't be attached to Mac either. Test Bonds and Ankiel every day, for all I care. Both of them, if illegal NOW, should be facing the same punishments NOW.
- Because they are showing their obvious bias & hypocrisy that's why.
