Just like Rick Ankiel, what if Barry Bonds?

took HGH to recover from his surgery in 05? Is that justified? How bout for Ankiel, is it ok that he took HGH to recover from his surgery? what if he's still using it, since its virtually undectable? how can many say Ankiel is innocent and give him the benefit of the doubt? why not both took HGH both took when they were recovering from surgery so what if BONDS HAS AN A-HOLE Personality, the man plays the game to win games, who cares about his frickin personality and his ability to get along with people...he definitely wasn't the first a-hole to be successful in a sport and be hated by fellow player at the same time...heard of ty cobb?? JJ Ankiel had surgery in 04 and got the prescription then Bonds had surgery in 05...right before hgh was banned JJ how do you know Bonds is still taking it? how do you know Ankiel is NOT TAKING it? do you have evidence? have you found a new way to detect HGH in players?

Public Comments

  1. Dont even compare Ankiel to Bonds. Just dont.
  2. You know the answer to that one. The bonds haters will still say he's a cheater anyway. They already made up their hypocritical minds about Bonds already. But of course they will keep making excuses for Ankiel. Absolute hypocrisy.
  3. # 1 is correct, There is NO comparison Between the two.......
  4. ok the one thing is.....HGH was forbidden in 05 not in 03 or whatever 2) is that bonds is still taking it
  5. It doesn't matter what reason either took it. If one is guilty and subject to ridicule then all are guilty. What does it matter if one hit over 761 homers or 9 homers in a few weeks. If you're gonna question Bonds' homers, you should negate Ankiel's homers that won or kept the Cardinals in the game. That's like saying someone comitted murder but had a very good reason and shouldn't be punished. Anyone who gets caught using nowadays are just plain stupid and deserve punishment. You still don't have proof that Barry took anythng. It's all he said, she said. Rick Ankiel is documented.
  6. First, the premise of your question is wrong - and you know it. Baroid took illegal drugs because he was jealous - he took in 1999 - 2004, not to recover from anything but because he was jealous of Little Mac. He is arrogant and a jerk and a cheater. Ankiel - MAY have been under doctor's supervision - we will see. But if he cheated, put an asterisk beside any records he sets as well. Baroid is a cheater and a jerk - and his followers are similar to the Jim Jones followers - giving loyalty without honor and drinking his kool aid right to death. Pathetic. You are right he plays to win - let's see - how many rings? One, no, two, no? ZERO! And he never will Cheaters are losers!
  7. Ankiel took it in 2004 when it was legal. It was illegal in 2005 when BB* would have needed it. End of discussion - BIG IF just got deflated to tiny if
  8. All the evidence isn't in yet, but based on what is out there -- Rick Ankiel took HGH under a doctor's prescription to recovery from surgery quicker, without breaking any laws and without violating MLB's policy. He also is very open about it and hasn't denied what the evidence clearly shows. If that is ALL Barry Bonds had done, he wouldn't be so villified. The difference is that Bonds did much more. There is a lot testimony and circumstantial evindence that Barry Bonds took anabolic steroids for an extended time. Anabolic steroids are not authorized for that use and the evidence suggests Bonds used it after MLB's policy was put in place. There is a big difference morally between using a legal drug under doctor's orders for an approved treatment and using a banned substance outside the scope of approved treatment. Secondly, unlike Ankiel, Bonds refuses to acknowledge his blatant violations. Despite the ever increasing evidence, he continues to insult the intelligence of everyone around him through denial. This lying also separates him from Ankiel, and his reputation is justifiaby tarnsihed for this behavior. Certainly, Bonds has his issues magnified due to his personality and due to his breaking Aaron's record (goes with the territory -- Aaron and Maris also went through that). Also, Ankiel is treated a little less harshly because of his incredible character and his personal story. That being said, to but Bonds and Ankiel in the same cateogory flat out ignores the facts above. Lastly, nobody is saying Ankiel is "innocent." Major League Baseball has already asked to speak with him, as they have with Troy Glauss. Plus the last time I checked, Barry Bonds has experienced NO PENALTY whatsover from MLB or the authorities for his steriod or HGH use. That is pretty innocent.
  9. If Bonds Took HGH and Ankiel took HGH, The why the Hell is Bonds Massive, And Ankiel looks human? Bonds went from a kicker in size, to a line backer, Ankiel went from the water boy to the kicker. And if he was still on it then NY Times would tell everybody he was still on it, If they know he used in 04' then they would know hes still on it, Ankiel wasnt even in the bigs for half the time he was using it.
  10. Back when America was the home of the Brave and Free,Drug testing was against the law , problem is we are no longer Brave and let the government and corporations take that right away and now its everybodys business, Personal Privacy ??
  11. yea i hear what your saying. I don't understand why people think that Bonds is such an idiot and Ankeil is a feel good story. But then again Ankeil didn't hit 73 homers in a season.
