Should I take HGH injections?

I'm going to stop around the age of 14 because I started puberty really early and right now I'm 13 and have less than a year to grow. I'm 4'10. But I don't know if I really want to take it...help?

1. it actually can IMPAIR yer growth at that age u cant get it unless yer blood work comes out bad. (from a Dr i mean) unless u get it illegally at skool and using it at higher age, yer bones will start to grow abnormally
2. Well, kissyface, I assume you are a 13 year old girl. You are not going to have to worry about this decision. It's going to be the decision of others. First of all, your physician will have to agree, then the insurance company, and then your parents, and then you. It's REALLY expensive. One year's treatments can run from 40-100 thousand dollars.
3. I think you can do this safely through a doctor, but not on your own (its unsafe). By the way, you really don't need to, there's nothing wrong with 4'10!
4. 14 at your height NO. You can't stop them when you get to the height you want. My son was 7 years old and 3 feet tall so I had to put him on them. They told me I could stop them anytime I felt he was tall enough. They told me that the shots do not make you grow any taller than you were intended to grow in the first place. It just rushes the process. I told them when he was 16 and 5'10" that I wanted to stop them. They then changed their story and told me that you have to stay on them until your bones catch up to your frame or something to that effect. At your height and age you should grow a few more inches by the time you are 16. You would have to go to an endrocronologist to have blood work and bone density testing and other tests to determine if you actually needed them. Again at your age and height I would say you do not need it.
5. HGH can only help you if you are actually deficient in HGH and you are still in the growing stage and the side effects can be quite horrific. You can find further information in a search for "amino acids to grow taller".
