HGH and cartilage regeneration?

Hey all, I've searched everywhere on the web and all I can seem to find about HGH is marketing gimics and suppliers with 'real' info on HGH and how it'll do everything from fix everything wrong with me to make me walk on water. What I'm interested in is the possible link between HGH and regenrating lost cartilage in my ankle. I'm 28, and broke my ankle 8 years ago. Post Truamatic Arthiritis has begun to set in and I'm almost to the point where it's bone on bone. I'm not going to sit back and watch idly while my cartilage withers and I need an ankle fusion. So I'm looking for ways to try to repair what I have. Does anyone know if HGH has some medical backing that might be of benefit to me in this situation? And, while I appreciate it, if all you're going to say is 'Talk to your doctor' please don't. I will, that's how I would have to get HGH, what I'm looking for is someone with experience with it and injury recovery. Thanks!

  1. HGH does not do much for cartilage regeneration. HGH is a growth hormone (as the name states) so it mainly focuses on growth of bones and muscles (but not like steroids so don't get any wrong ideas). If you read the description given by the companies selling HGH, they will describe it as a miracle product that can cure anything. It is far from, and simply makes u taller, have bigger hands and bigger feet. Besides that, it wont be much help
