Do you consider Pettitte a cheater? Andy himself said he doesnt think hes a cheater?

Since he used HGH to come back faster from an injury, and other players that are injured did not use HGH to come back faster, instead healed and came back the natural way, do you consider Andy a cheater? or do you believe he should be considered not a cheater since he was only trying to come back after and help his team win?

  1. dude, try waiting for month to recover from an injury. i play alot of sports (recreation of course), i tored up my knee, i was injured for 4 month and every day i itch to get back to action. i heard many other athletes use HGH to heal. i dont think its that big of deal because he didnt used to enhance his performance just quicken his time to recover.
  2. no because andy used hgh in 2002 and in 2006 HGH was banned from MLB it was not until 4 years later that this happened. So Andy is far from being a cheater. He never broke any MLB rules
  3. Bandages also help you recovery faster from injury, so does surgery. What about pain killers? What about cortisone shots? They artificially allow you to perform when you naturally would not be able to. HGH was not a banned substance when Andy reportedly used it, so he didn't break any rules. Anyway, I believe HGH will be used to treat all types of injuries in the future, because it's the best medical practice and it makes sense.
  4. Everyone who has taken HGH or steroids should just call themselves cheaters on live television and they would be left alone.
  5. HGH is a legal product --- Pettitte said that he used it when it was a legal substance in baseball......it helps you recover faster. My doctor says it's safe and mostly amino acids. No, he's not a cheater. He said he didn't take it after baseball banned it. How can he be called a cheater?
  6. I don't know why he thinks he's not a cheater. I can't figure that one out. If it wasn't cheating, why did he keep it a secret?
  7. Yes. I don't blame him for doing it...well I wouldn't blame him if i really believed that he was doing it only to come back from an injury. But honestly I don't believe him. I think he used it more than he has claimed and I said that after his first admission of doing after the MITCHEL REPORT came out too. If he was telling the truth than he wouldn't have asked Brian MacNamee "why don't you give me the same stuff you give Roger?". That was reported by the NY media and that is not the type of question you ask when you're "only" using it to come back from an injury. He is a cheater and that was his intention from the start, just like ROGER.
  8. well he is guilty of using an illegal drug...regardless if it was not banned by MLB or not.
  9. yes cause last time i checked hgh is illegal unless you have a prescription and i wonder why he tried to be so sneaky about taking it
  10. sure he's a cheater- he used a drug in secret to give him an unfair advantage over other injured players to get off the DL. If it weren't cheating, it would be on every injured player's treatment plan.
