Bodybuilding Competition..What does "natural" mean exactly?

When someones competes in a bodybuilding competition does "natural" mean they dont use any of the supplements..Like NO Xplode, Super Pump 250 Etc.... or does that mean they just dont use HGH, Steroids, etc.....

1. Natural in the strictest sense means no supplimentation what so ever. Just food, determination, and hard work. Due to legality issues no one would ever admit to using steroids, as such they don't count in for natural or supplimented body work. However the legal stuff: creatine, Xplode, ect., are all legal and count for supplimented body work. Hope this helps.
2. nothing! none of that stuff ....Xplode, Super Pump or hgh, steriods...
3. depends on the competition but i believe natural just means no steroids. noxplode and creatine are just suppliments (food). steroids change hormones
4. Natural legally means nothing. Some are using it to say that it is not man-made but others are saying that anyhing existing on the planet earth is natural. So if a spaceship from another planet landed here, it would not be natural to this planet but it would be natural to the universe. So usually it is used to fool people. Is a fruit grown with pesticides natural? This is why it has no meaning. You need a legal definition to go by.
5. As far as a bodybuilding competition goes, "natural" means whatever they decide it means. On most natural federation websites, you can read all the banned substances. I do not believe that NO Xplode is a banned substance. For most of them there is also a time period that you must be clean of all of the banned substances. Generally ranges from 2-5 years. Natural means something different to almost everyone.
