If you consider HGH use to be immoral: why?

I can understand illegal, HARMFUL steroid use being immoral, but what is immoral about the act of enhancing performance itself? In other words, what is immoral about using HGH to increase performance? It is not immoral or harmful, and in my opinion, it should be available for purchase in small quantities at Vitamin World, GNC, etc. I believe that the act of enhancing performance itself is simply fighting aging - a natural process. The only thing bad about illegal steroids is that they are medically harmful. Furthermore, a provocative question remains unanswered: If an athlete has a naturally low level of testosterone, should he/she be able to take testosterone supplements while playing professional sports? Even further, suppose the lower laboratory reference range for testosterone blood tests was set at 500 ng/dl? Even further, suppose an athlete's body naturally maintains a testosterone blood level of 1200 ng/dl? Then suppose the upper limit for a negative test is 1000 ng/dl ? ? ?

3. its a matter of ethics and safety rather than a moral issue for sports. Allowing it forces athletes who already compete in every way, to then compete as to who can take the most of these substances to win. Which becomes very very dangerous given that many athletes may be as young as 14 (gymnasts, divers, tennis players) etc and not properly protected by rights in 2nd or 3rd world countries. A lot of discussion goes into using certain amounts of this and whether disabled athletes should use that etc. etc. but policing it becomes impossible, which is why they settle on a "general ban for the dangerous substances" Which HGH is by the way-its deadly if not taken in medically indicated instances.Causes death through enlarging major organs, structures, soft tissues even faster than steroids. Secondly for sports gains it must usually be taken in conjunction with conventional steroids anyway. Since size and thickening without the extra mass and strength is not useful for any athlete. I know a lot of guys taking steroids who are terrified of HGH and IGF-1 etc.
4. It is not immoral and no one is trying to say it is. Certain performance enhancing drugs are banned in baseball as a result of a MLB and Players Union agreement. Morality has nothing to do with the issue, it is against the rules to use them.
5. Half these people don't understand any of this and how much of this goes on even at the high school level....
6. Freakin' hypocrites. Steroids are fine. I stubbed my toe once, and my "doctor" gave me Peruvian donkey hormones that could bulk up a quadriplegic in a coma. So I grew a tail...big deal. I equate steroid use with prostitution. A person wants something, they purchase it, and they get what they want while someone profits. Nobody is hurt except...those guys who pay EXTRA TO GET HURT! Man could evolve to the point he no longer takes oxygen in through a hole in his face, he'll still want a knob shine from a chick named Destiny. And man will always want to be better at sports...and in the bedroom.
7. How is it immoral? Most Americans cheat on their taxes. Is that immoral?
